Fixture Scout
Set conditions on team form and FootyMetrics AI match probabilities, then find upcoming fixtures that match. Filter by stat, probability, league, date and odds across 115+ leagues.
What is Fixture Scout?
Fixture Scout is the most flexible team form research tool on FootyMetrics. Instead of browsing stats manually, you define up to four custom conditions - things like the home team scoring over 1.5 goals in at least 80% of their last 10 matches, combined with the away team conceding over 1.5 goals in the same window - and the tool finds every upcoming fixture that satisfies all of them simultaneously.
All conditions are applied with AND logic, so every fixture returned has passed every condition you set. Results include the historical match values for your chosen window so you can see exactly how strong the pattern has been, not just whether it qualifies.
Coverage includes 116 leagues across Europe, South America, North America and beyond including the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesiga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Eredivisie, MLS, and more. The data updates daily and fixtures can be filtered by date range, from today only through to all upcoming fixtures across any window you choose.
How Conditions Work
Each condition is configured in three steps. First you select the party: home team, away team, both teams, either team, or other. Then you select a statistic from the full list of supported team stats like match result, goals, corners, halftime outcomes, clean sheets, and more. For stats like both teams to score or most corners, you set yes or no. For other stats like goals or corners you set a scope (match total, for, or against), a direction (over or under), a line value, a match window, and a minimum hit rate.
For example: away team, goals conceded, over 1.5, in 80% of last 10 matches. Stack that alongside a condition for the home team scoring freely and you have a structured filter for BTTS or over 2.5 goals candidates that goes well beyond what standard league tables show.
Beyond team form, you can add a match probability condition that filters on the FootyMetrics AI model. Require a minimum model probability for markets like over/under goals, both teams to score, corners or the match result, then combine it with your form conditions in the same search. Match probability conditions are a Premium feature.
The Either and Other Combination
The most powerful feature in Fixture Scout is the Either and Other party combination. When you set a condition to Either, you are not specifying whether it applies to the home or away team. The system checks both orientations and returns fixtures where at least one of them qualifies.
Add a second condition set to Other and the logic becomes: one team meets condition A and the opposing team meets condition B, regardless of which is home or away. So "Either: goals scored over 1.5 in 80% of last 10" plus "Other: goals conceded over 1.5 in 80% of last 10" will surface fixtures where one side scores consistently and the other leaks goals consistently, in both possible orientations. This is significantly more flexible than specifying home and away separately, and tends to return more results without loosening the quality threshold.
Filtering by Date and League
Results can be narrowed by fixture date, today only, next 3 days, next 7 days, or all upcoming fixtures, so you can focus on what is relevant for the current matchday rather than scrolling through a long list. The league filter lets you restrict results to specific competitions, which is useful if you only follow certain leagues or want to isolate patterns in a competition with a particular style of play.
Combining date and league filters with tight form conditions is the most effective way to use the tool on a match day. Set your conditions, filter to today or the next three days, and pick your target leagues. The result is a short, high-quality fixture list rather than a broad one that requires more manual filtering.
Odds Filter and Supported Markets
For a selection of markets, you can filter results by minimum odds from bookmakers like Bet365. This is useful for avoiding fixtures where the market has already priced in the pattern. A form angle that looks strong but is available at 1.20 offers very different value to the same angle at 1.80. The odds filter requires a direct market mapping in the odds feed, which is currently available for the following markets:
- Total goals
- Home goals
- Away goals
- Match result (1X2)
- Half-time result
- BTTS
- BTTS first half
- BTTS second half
- Total shots

Using Presets
Not sure where to start? The preset templates cover common betting angles like over 2.5 goals, BTTS, and corner dominance. Each preset is fully editable. Load it as a starting point and adjust the conditions, thresholds, or match window to fit your own approach. Presets are a fast way to get familiar with how the condition builder works before setting up something more specific.
How Fixture Scout Differs from Team Trends
The team trends pages show automated patterns detected across all teams, which useful for browsing what is consistent right now without knowing what you are looking for. Fixture Scout works the other way around: you define the conditions first and find the fixtures that match them. It is better suited to researching a specific market angle or verifying a pattern you already have in mind.
For player-level research, the Player Props Finder does a similar job; custom conditions applied to individual players rather than team-level match outcomes.
