The model's strongest pick in each market for every fixture, across match result, both teams to score and total goals, priced against the best bookmaker odds.

About FootyMetrics predictions

A short read on what the FootyMetrics AI predicts, the markets it covers, and how to make sense of the cards above.

What the FootyMetrics AI does

Every fixture we cover is scored by the FootyMetrics AI. The AI looks at recent form for both sides, head to head meetings, confirmed lineups, injuries and per-league context, then produces a probability for each market we cover. The strongest call per fixture is what lands on the card.

Each card carries that probability next to a live bookmaker price. When our number beats the price's implied probability, the gap shows up as a green edge badge. That is where the value sits. More on how the AI works.

Markets we cover

Each market sits on its own page with cards filtered to that selection only. This hub shows the strongest call per fixture across all markets.

How to read a prediction card

The top strip carries the league and kick-off time in your local timezone. Below that are the two sides with the home team on the left. The coloured block holds the picked market, the probability bar (green when strong, amber when marginal) and the best current bookmaker price across the books we track.

When the AI scores a price the book has wrong, a green edge badge sits next to the probability. The form stats below the pick are there so you can sanity-check the call rather than take it on trust.

Using the filters

The toolbar above the grid carries the controls you'll touch most: the date strip (today through six days out), a sort dropdown for highest probability, highest edge or earliest kick-off, and quick min-odds chips for tightening the slate to bigger prices.

The Filters drawer covers the rest: a min-odds slider for fine control, a bookmaker multi-select that filters the price strip shown on each card, and switches for hiding international matches and friendlies. Filters write to the URL so you can share a tight view with someone else.

Frequently asked questions

How does the FootyMetrics AI generate predictions?

Every fixture is scored by the FootyMetrics AI across every market we cover. The AI uses recent form for both sides, head to head, confirmed lineups, injuries, player contributions and per-league context. The strongest call per fixture is what surfaces on the card.

How accurate are the predictions?

72.1% of 129,776 backtested predictions landed across the 2024 and 2025 seasons.

What is the edge on a card?

The gap between our probability and the bookmaker's implied probability for the same outcome. A plus six edge means the AI thinks the outcome is six points more likely than the price implies. Negative edges are hidden, so when the book has the price right or better the green badge does not appear.

How often are predictions updated?

Probabilities refresh as new form data and team news arrive and as bookmaker prices move. A first call lands around two weeks before kick-off; the card on match day has had more inputs than the one ten days out.
