Top Goalscorers This Season

Players ranked by goals scored across domestic leagues this season. Tap the column headers to switch between season total and goals per game. Minimum five appearances.

The over 2.5 goals market requires three or more goals in total across both teams in 90 minutes. Neither team needs to score specifically, and the result does not affect settlement. A 3-0 win and a 2-1 loss both settle as over 2.5. The hit rate in the table above shows how often a team's matches this season have produced that outcome.

Average goals per match is shown alongside hit rate because a team can have a high over 2.5 rate driven by a small number of very high-scoring matches, or a more consistent pattern spread across many games. Both pieces of information are useful context for the hit rate figure.

The opponent hit rate column shows how often the next scheduled opponent's matches have gone over 2.5 goals this season. This is calculated from the opponent's own record and updates daily as fixtures are confirmed. For league-level rates across all competitions, see the top leagues table below.

Over 1.5 and Over 3.5 Goals

Over 1.5 goals requires two or more goals and settles on a much higher proportion of matches than over 2.5. The market is commonly used in accumulators and same-game multiples where individual leg odds are lower but combined probability remains workable. Teams with very high over 1.5 rates are generally those involved in consistently open matches in both directions.

Over 3.5 goals requires four or more goals and is a significantly rarer outcome than over 2.5. The hit rates in the over 3.5 table below are lower across the board, which is reflected in the higher odds bookmakers offer on this market. Some bookmakers also offer cash-out or early payout promotions when a match reaches three goals before full time, which can apply to over 2.5 positions still in play.

For a breakdown of which leagues produce the most over 3.5 and over 1.5 outcomes, see best leagues for goals. For team-level trends in goals over their recent matches, the team trends page covers goals scored, goals conceded, and total match goals.

Over / Under Goals FAQ

What does over 2.5 goals mean?

Over 2.5 goals means there must be three or more goals scored in total during the 90 minutes of play. The .5 suffix ensures the market always produces a result, since no team can score half a goal. Both teams do not need to score: a 3-0 scoreline settles the same as a 2-1.

Does extra time count for over 2.5 goals?

In most cases no. Goals scored in extra time or penalty shootouts do not count toward over/under goals markets. Settlement is based on the 90-minute result plus injury time only. This varies slightly by bookmaker, so check the specific market rules before placing.

What is the difference between over 1.5, 2.5 and 3.5 goals?

Each line requires a different minimum total. Over 1.5 settles with two or more goals. Over 2.5 settles with three or more. Over 3.5 settles with four or more. Higher lines produce fewer qualifying matches and higher odds. The hit rates in each table on this page reflect how often each team's matches have cleared that specific line this season.

How is the hit rate calculated?

Hit rate is the percentage of a team's domestic league matches this season that ended with the result meeting the condition. For over 2.5 goals, it is the number of matches with three or more goals divided by total matches played. Only domestic league matches are included unless stated otherwise.

What does the opponent hit rate show?

The opponent hit rate shows how often the next scheduled opponent's matches have ended over 2.5 goals this season, calculated from their own record. It is based on all of their domestic league fixtures played to date and updates daily as new results come in.

What is goal both halves?

Goal both halves is a market where at least one goal must be scored in each half of the match. It is stricter than over 1.5 goals because it requires goals to be spread across both halves rather than all occurring in one period. The hit rates for this market are shown in the table at the bottom of this page.
