Save counts track how much work a goalkeeper is given. The keepers at the top of this table are usually behind defences that concede plenty of shots on target, which makes the saves market worth a look when they face an attacking side. Read the numbers next to shots on target against for the clearest setup.

Goalkeeper Saves FAQ
What counts as a goalkeeper save?
A save is recorded when the goalkeeper stops a shot that was on target from entering the goal. Blocks by outfield defenders are not keeper saves, and clearances or catches from crosses do not count unless they stop a goalbound effort.
Why do keepers in weaker teams make more saves?
A goalkeeper can only make a save when the opposition gets a shot on target. Keepers behind a defence that concedes a lot of chances face more work, so a high save count often reflects time spent under pressure rather than a quiet afternoon.
Is a high save total a sign of a good goalkeeper?
Volume measures workload, not quality. Save percentage, which compares saves to shots faced, is a better quality signal. A keeper near the top of this list is busy, which is useful for save props, but it does not by itself rank them among the best.
What lines do bookmakers offer for keeper saves?
Goalkeeper saves props are commonly offered between 2.5 and 4.5, with overs the more popular side. They appear on selected top-division fixtures. Keepers behind defences that concede sustained pressure are the most relevant for the over.
